Jana Sena has the symbol of a glass and they have fielded candidates in 8 seats. However, independents in other seats have also been given the same symbol. This is causing concerns for both BJP and Jana Sena as voters may mistake them for each other due to the glass symbol. Efforts are being made to explain the symbol to voters to avoid any confusion.
Another party facing a similar issue is BRS party. They have symbols like a road roller and roti maker, which are similar to the car symbol. BRS leaders have raised their concerns with the Central Election Commission about this matter.
