Bonalu Festival Fund: Hyderabad Temple Committees Requested to Submit Applications

Temple committees in Hyderabad and Secunderabad have been asked to apply for financial help for the Ashadam Bonalu festival. The Animal Husbandry minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, has said that the government will allocate funds to all temples, even those not under the endowment department. The Bonalu festivities will start on June 22 and continue throughout July. The Old City Bonalu festival will take place on July 16. The State government has allocated Rs.15 crore for the celebrations this year.
