BRS leader Basu Hanumanthu Naidu recently visited Chinnonipalli village to assess the situation caused by floodwaters from a nearby reservoir. The rising water levels have worried the villagers, who fear the impact on their homes and livelihood. Naidu toured the village, spoke with residents to understand their concerns, and inspected the flooded agricultural lands.
During his visit, Naidu assured the villagers that the BRS party would work to ensure justice from the state government. He promised to advocate for the necessary support and compensation for the farmers who had suffered losses and for those who had been displaced by the floods.
Naidu also urged the government to provide a three-month timeframe for relocating the displaced residents and to address any pending bills. He emphasized the need to allocate plots for under-18 residents who had not received any previously, to help them build their homes.
Furthermore, Naidu demanded that the state government ensure that funds are distributed fairly and without bias to the people of Chinnonipalli. He also requested that the government grant Indiramma houses to the residents of the village.
Before concluding his visit, Naidu met with Panchayat Secretary Ravindra Goud to gather details on the damage to crops. He called on district officials and the state government to address these issues quickly.
The visit was attended by several other local leaders and activists, including Noor Pasha, Raju Naidu, Thimma Goud, Rayapuram Veeresh, and others, along with the affected villagers.
