Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent speech in Induru has sparked a fierce campaign between the BRS and the ruling BJP ahead of the upcoming state elections. While some criticize the Prime Minister for revealing private conversations between political leaders, others see it as a tit-for-tat response. In response, the BRS is preparing to unveil a mega manifesto that will outshine the promises of their rival parties.

Party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao will reveal the manifesto at a massive public meeting in Warangal on October 16. The manifesto will include new welfare schemes and increased benefits for existing ones. For example, the amount given under the Rythu Bandhu program is expected to increase from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 per acre, while Aasara pensions may increase from Rs 2,116 to Rs 4,500.

Additionally, the BRS may promise to increase the amount provided under the Gruhalakshmi scheme from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh and increase the beneficiaries of the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme from Rs 1,00,116 to Rs 2 lakh. They may also announce further subsidies for LPG cylinders to make them more affordable.

In addition to these monetary benefits, the BRS chief may reiterate promises made during the 2018 Assembly elections, such as unemployment support for youth and improved health facilities including air ambulances for emergencies. The BRS aims to silence their opposition with their ambitious manifesto, which they believe will overshadow the promises made by other parties.
