The Hyderabad Police on Saturday announced the completion of the investigation into the Sandhya 70mm Theatre stampede case, with a chargesheet filed before the court on December 24, 2025.
Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, confirmed that 23 accused persons have been chargesheeted following a comprehensive probe into the incident. Among them, 14 accused were arrested, while 9 accused who obtained anticipatory bail were served notices.
The investigation revealed significant lapses in planning, crowd management, security arrangements, and coordination among the theatre management, event organisers, private security personnel, and others involved during the incident.
The list of accused includes eight partners of Sandhya 70mm Theatre at RTC Cross Roads. Key accused are Agamati Ram Reddy alias Pedda Ram Reddy (A1) and Agamati Ram Reddy alias Chinna Ram Reddy (A2), both partners and owners of the theatre. Other partners named include M. Sandeep, M. Sumeeth alias Mittu, Agamati Vinay Kumar, Agamati Ashutosh Reddy, Smt. M. Renuka Devi, and Smt. Agamati Aruna Reddy.
The chargesheet also names M. Nagaraju, the theatre manager, and Gandhakam Vijay Chander, who served as lower balcony in-charge and gatekeeper.
Film actor Allu Arjun alias Bunny (A11) has been listed among the accused, along with his managers Josya Bhatla Santosh Kumar (A12) and Sharat Bunny alias Sharath Chandra Naidu (A13). Tatipamula Vinay Kumar alias Arjun Kumar, identified as the fans association in-charge, is also named.
Event organiser Talla Kiran Kumar Goud alias Raju (A16), who also worked as an electrician, and his assistant Mohd. Parvez (A15) are among the accused. Two personal security guards of Allu Arjun, Cheruku Ramesh and Sriramula Raju, have been chargesheeted as well.
Five bouncers have been named in the case: Ibrahim Mohammed Firdosh, Azam Pasha alias Babi, D. Mahesh, Raj Antony Demello alias Antony, and Peggapuram Satyamurthy.
The police stated that further proceedings in the case will continue as per law. The chargesheet marks a significant development in the case that drew widespread attention following the stampede incident at the theatre.
