Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched the first-ever Hydraa Police Station in Hyderabad on May 8, marking a big step toward protecting public lands in the city.
The new police station is designed to guard important government properties such as lakes, parks, open lands, and other public spaces. These areas often face threats from illegal occupation or misuse.
The inauguration took place at Hydraa Bhavan, located beside Buddha Bhavan. Several top officials attended the event. Among them were Hydraa Commissioner Ranganath, Government Advisor Narender Reddy, Hyderabad Mayor Vijayalakshmi, and other key dignitaries.
During the ceremony, CM Revanth Reddy received a formal salute from the Hydraa Police. He also introduced a fresh fleet of vehicles, including DCM trucks, Scorpio SUVs, and motorbikes. These vehicles will help officers respond quickly and patrol public spaces more effectively.
Later, the Chief Minister toured the new police station. Commissioner Ranganath guided him through the facility, explaining how each department will function. The station is equipped with modern tools and plans to use technology to monitor and safeguard public land.
This new initiative reflects the government’s focus on urban safety and protecting public resources for the people of Hyderabad.
