Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently spoke about the importance of staying focused, drawing a comparison to Arjuna’s unwavering goal during Draupadi’s swayamvara. He shared this advice with candidates who have qualified for the Civil Services Mains exam, urging them to remain focused and avoid distractions.

At an event held at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, the Chief Minister distributed cheques of ₹1 lakh each to 135 successful candidates under the Rajeev Gandhi Civil Services Financial Assistance Scheme. He expressed concern that Telangana is falling behind states like Bihar and Rajasthan in Civil Services selection and emphasized the need for more candidates from Telangana to succeed.

Revanth Reddy promised an additional ₹1 lakh to those who qualify for the interview stage after passing the Mains exam. He acknowledged that while ₹1 lakh may not seem like a significant amount, it symbolizes the government’s support for aspirants.

The Chief Minister encouraged the candidates to take pride in their achievements, not just for themselves and their families, but also for the entire state. He highlighted the current government’s commitment to education, university development, and job creation, comparing it favorably to previous administrations.

He also shared plans to establish “Young India Integrated Residential Schools” as well as “Young India Skills University” and “Young India Sports University” to improve education and enhance sports performance in the state.

Additionally, the Chief Minister assured that vice-chancellors would be appointed to all state universities, and that all teaching and non-teaching posts would be filled within two weeks. He warned the unemployed to be wary of those who have previously deceived them, and assured that the government is available to address any concerns.

The event also included special acknowledgments for Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Singareni CMD Balaram Naik for their contributions to the financial assistance program. The gathering was attended by ministers, legislators, and senior officials.
