Khammam: On Monday, Assistant Municipal Commissioner J Anil organized a meeting with ward officers at the Khammam Municipal Corporation. The focus was on evaluating the sanitation tasks in various wards.
Officers shared updates on daily cleaning routines, drain maintenance, and the operation of garbage autos and tractors. Anil inquired about the number of sanitation workers in each area and emphasized the need for improved supervision to enhance efficiency. He also checked the status of trade licenses, asking how many shops had obtained them and instructed officers to follow up with those that hadn’t.
Anil highlighted that the meeting aimed to help officers gain a better understanding of their areas to address issues more effectively.
