The four-kilometer-long flyover between Zoo Park and Aramghar in Hyderabad, part of the SRDP project, is delayed, causing inconvenience to commuters and residents. The construction of the bi-directional six-lane flyover began in 2021 and was supposed to be finished by 2023. However, it is now creating traffic problems for people traveling between Bahadurpura and Aramghar.
The stretch from Bahadurpura to Aramghar is heavily congested with vehicles, leading to increased traffic and accidents. The aim of the flyover was to ease traffic flow, but it has become a nightmare for commuters. Bikes, autos, cars, buses, and heavy vehicles are facing inconvenience due to the ongoing construction work.
Commuters are frustrated with the long delays and poor road conditions caused by the construction. They are calling for temporary roads to be laid down to make their journey smoother. The project, estimated to cost Rs 636.80 crore, involves building a bi-directional six-lane flyover on 127 foundations and acquiring 163 properties.
Many commuters have expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state of the road and the difficulties they face due to the construction work. The ongoing project has made traveling along this stretch challenging and frustrating for those who use it regularly.
