District Collector BM Santhosh paid his respects to Mahatma Gandhi and other Martyrs of the Nation at the IDOC on Tuesday morning. Every year on 30th January, we commemorate Martyrs Commemorate Day in honor of those who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle.
During the event, the district Collector emphasized the importance of recognizing and honoring the sacrifices made by these noble individuals. He also stressed the need to educate future generations about their contributions.
To mark Gandhiji’s death anniversary, a two-minute silence was observed to remember the martyrs.
The morning gathering at the Collectorate included the participation of additional collectors Cheerla Srinivas Sagar, Apoorva Chauhan, AO Bhadrappa, and other officials.
