Nagar Kurnool: District Nodal Officer G. Venkata Ramana has instructed all government junior colleges in the district to hold parents’ meetings on September 26. This follows directions from the Intermediate Board.
These meetings will provide parents with updates on the colleges’ progress and students’ academic performance for the 2025-26 school year. Physics Wall will offer free coaching for students aiming to take national-level exams like NEET, JEE, and CLAT. The Prajwala Foundation will organize programs focused on student safety, counseling, cyber protection, and teacher training.
Students will also have access to counseling services by psychologists and programs raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
Venkata Ramana announced that funds have been allocated to colleges based on the number of students. These funds will cover toilet cleaning, campus maintenance, and plant care. Additionally, ₹10,000 has been approved for sports equipment, special funds for minor repairs, fire safety equipment, ₹12,000 for CCTV repairs, and ₹25,000 for laboratory improvements.
The nodal officer emphasized that all this information must be thoroughly shared with parents during the meetings.
