According to Dr. Rao, Mamata, a pregnant woman from the city, arrived at the hospital for delivery. Upon examination, it was discovered that the placenta had moved to the lower part of the uterus, which made a cesarean delivery extremely risky.

The situation became even more alarming as the woman experienced heavy bleeding. Doctors explained the seriousness of the case to Mamata’s family, including the possibility of needing to remove her womb to save her life. Despite the risks, the family insisted on proceeding with the delivery at the hospital.

The medical team successfully performed a cesarean section, delivering a healthy baby girl weighing 3 kg. Fortunately, the mother’s womb was preserved. Both the mother and baby are now in good health.

Dr. Rao emphasized that Medicover Hospital’s super-specialty medical team is equipped to handle even the most critical deliveries. She noted that the availability of advanced care ensures such complex cases can be managed smoothly.

The press conference was attended by anesthetist Dr. Vinay, critical care specialist Dr. Upender Reddy, superintendent Dr. Ravimalla Reddy, hospital center head Gurram Kiran, and marketing manager Kota Karnakar.
