The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face off against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Eliminator. The winner of the game will advance to the final and have a chance to win the IPL trophy while the loser will be eliminated. LSG narrowly won their previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and will face a tough challenge against MI’s strong batting lineup, which includes Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav. LSG’s best chance is to try and restrict MI’s batting and rely on their own power-hitters like Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran to take on MI’s weaker bowling department. MI will be looking to atone for last year’s disappointment and have a strong batting lineup that could prove to be LSG’s downfall.
