    The Telangana government has appointed special officers to oversee the drinking water situation until the end of July. These officers will work with district collectors and State level departments to ensure that all rural and urban households receive an adequate supply of drinking water daily.

    The special officers are not allowed to take leave until July and must focus on addressing the drinking water situation in their respective districts. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issued orders appointing ten IAS officers to the ten districts of the state.

    The appointed IAS officers for each district are as follows: Prashant Jeevan Patil for Adilabad and Nirmal, Krishna Aditya for Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Manchiryal, RV Karnan for Karimnagar, Jagityal, Peddapalli, and Rajanna Sirisil, Anita Ramachandran for Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, and Suryapet, Sharat for Nizamabad and Kamareddy, Vijayendra for Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad, and Medchal Malkajgiri, Shruti Ojha for Mahabubnagar, Narayanapet, Vanaparthi, Jogulamba Gadwal, and Nagar Kurnool, Gopi for Warangal, Hanumakonda, Janagama, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, and Mahabubabad, Bharati Hollikeri for Medak, Sangareddy, and Siddipet, and Surendramohan for Khammam, Bhadradri, and Kothagudem.
