The high-stakes bi-election for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates’ constituency is set to take place on Monday. The Congress, BRS, and BJP are all working to attract voters by offering money, with rates ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 per vote. Each party is focusing on different districts – BRS in Warangal, Congress in Khammam and Nalgonda.

The election was called after the incumbent BRS MLC P Rajeshawar Reddy was elected to the Assembly in 2023. Candidates in the fray include Teenmar Mallanna from Congress, Rakesh Reddy from BRS, and G Premendar Reddy from BJP. Party leaders have been meeting with graduate voters to convince them to support their respective candidates.

BRS is confident in Warangal district’s support, while Congress believes they have a strong base in Khammam and Nalgonda. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, BRS working president KT Rama Rao, and BJP state unit president G Kishan Reddy are guiding district leaders to ensure victory for their candidates.
