Kadarla Suryanarayana, the headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School at Vattemla in Rajanna Sircilla district, has launched a unique social media campaign using an AI tool to boost student enrollment in the State-run government school. This initiative is part of Suryanarayana’s efforts to enhance the overall development of students, which also included projects like a humanity wall and a mock election to educate students about the electoral process.
Suryanarayana believes that students learn best through experiences rather than just being told information. To attract more students to government schools, he had previously organized a campaign with a public address system. The current campaign aims to leverage AI technology after being inspired by his daughter, a third-year B Tech student at IIITDM-Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu, who provided guidance on creating a promotional video using AI.
The video features a virtual AI anchor explaining the benefits of ZPHS, Vattemla, and other government schools in Telangana. It highlights features such as English medium instruction, qualified teachers, mid-day meals, free textbooks, school uniforms, digital lessons through T-Sat channel, and more. The video has been shared on various social media platforms like Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, and WhatsApp to reach a wider audience and encourage enrollment.
Suryanarayana’s innovative approach to promoting government schools through AI technology showcases his dedication to improving education and increasing student enrollment in public institutions. His efforts demonstrate a commitment to providing quality education and opportunities for students in the region.
