Traffic restrictions have been imposed in the Cyberabad Commissionerate limits to address the increasing traffic congestion. Heavy vehicles are not allowed on the roads during specific times in the morning and evening. This decision was announced during a meeting held by the Traffic DCP, along with other officials.

According to the traffic DCP, heavy vehicles and medium motor vehicles such as DCMs, water tankers, RMCs, JCBs, and tractors are prohibited from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and from 4 pm to 10:30 pm. Construction and demolition vehicles are also not allowed on the roads from 6 am to 10:30 pm. Any heavy vehicles found violating these restrictions will be fined or seized.

The DCP mentioned that many establishments, including multiplexes, shopping malls, and hotels, are allowing their customers to park on the roads, which is causing traffic disruptions. Action will be taken against such parking violations. Pedestrians are advised to use designated areas such as footpaths and pedestrian crossings for their safety.

Additionally, auto-rickshaw drivers, cab drivers, and other transport vehicle drivers within Cyberabad are required to wear a uniform. Awareness programs are being conducted to educate students and drivers about following traffic rules. Violations such as driving on the wrong route and encroaching on footpaths will be penalized under the law.
