On May 3, Suvarna left the house with her bags. Soon after, the family noticed that several gold ornaments were missing. They also discovered that a mobile phone was gone.

The homeowner, Dandibhatla Siva Rama Krishna, filed a complaint with the police. He said Suvarna had gained their trust while caring for his mother-in-law. But during her stay, she took advantage of the situation and stole valuables from their home.
