Hyderabad Promotes Semiconductor Industry Growth
The city of Hyderabad is positioning itself as a favorable destination for the semiconductor and related industries, according to Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, D. Sridhar Babu.
During a meeting with representatives from the Asia division of the PTW Group on Monday, the Minister outlined the city’s strategic benefits for companies involved in semiconductor manufacturing. He highlighted Hyderabad’s advantages for establishing chip-making operations.
Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized that Hyderabad has a robust pool of skilled professionals essential for semiconductor production. “There is no shortage of expertise here,” he stated, while encouraging the company to submit detailed proposals for their plans. He also reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting such ventures.
Additionally, the Minister shared the government’s vision of creating a semiconductor cluster in Hyderabad. This initiative aims to attract more investments and make the city a major player in this critical sector.
He further noted that Telangana’s proactive policies, talented workforce, and strong infrastructure make Hyderabad an ideal choice for global semiconductor firms. “Hyderabad is cementing its position as a hub for cutting-edge industries,” he concluded.
