A senior police official in Telangana has been accused of stalking a woman who works for a state-run Power Distribution Company. The woman filed a complaint at Chaitanyapuri Police Station, leading to a case being registered against the Superintendent of Police in the Crime Investigation Department. The woman claims that the official convinced her to attend classes at Saroornagar Stadium by stating that they were being conducted. He also obtained her phone number and began sending her romantic messages, songs, videos, and pictures of sarees. The woman refused his advances and stopped responding to him for a year. However, she recently contacted him regarding an accident case, during which he expressed a desire to maintain their friendship. The case has been registered and an investigation is ongoing.
