Hyderabad: Police in Cyberabad stopped an illegal party at a farmhouse near the Moinabad police station on the outskirts of the city. The raid happened early Wednesday morning.
During the raid, 14 young men were arrested, and seven women were taken into custody. The women had reportedly been brought from Mumbai and West Bengal to perform vulgar dances at the event.
Police found 70 grams of ganja (marijuana), liquor bottles, and hookah pots at the scene. The party lasted until about 3 a.m., with guests using hookah and possibly drugs.
The organisers had invited the women to entertain guests through inappropriate dancing. According to police, many of the partygoers were found using drugs and alcohol and behaving indecently.
The women have been sent to a rescue home, and those arrested have been taken to the police station. The Moinabad police have filed a case and started an investigation. They are also conducting medical tests to check if the arrested people used any drugs.
