Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police, working with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs, has sent a Pakistani man back to his country through the Attari Border in Punjab.
The man, named Muhammad Usman, also known as Md Abbas Ikram, is 48 years old. He entered India illegally from Nepal in 2011. In Hyderabad, he faced four criminal charges and served jail terms ranging from one month to five years. After completing these legal processes, he was kept in the Detention Centre, CCS, Hyderabad on September 7, 2024. He was then handed over to the Pakistan Rangers on September 9, 2025.
The Detention Centre at CCS, Hyderabad was set up on August 29, 2018. It has housed 158 detainees from 19 different countries, and 150 of them have been deported. Recently, on August 12, 2025, over 20 Bangladeshi nationals involved in illegal activities were deported via the Indo-Bangladesh border.
