    Hyderabad: On Friday, the Hyderabad Police uncovered an illegal prostitution ring disguised as a spa. The raid, conducted by the Commissioner’s Task Force West Team Zone along with the SR Nagar Police, targeted the NS Beauty Salon and Spa in SR Nagar. Six people were arrested, and a woman was rescued.

    Those arrested include Nathari Sudha (30), who was a sub-organizer, and customers Sagiraju Dinesh Varma, Gudala Goutham, Nenavath Ravi Kumar, Chavan Surender, and Pinni Praveen Kumar.

    The raid took place on June 5 at around 8:30 pm at Flat No. 302, Alrich Purandevi Apartment, near Gurudwara, Ameerpet, SR Nagar.

    YVS Sudheendra, DCP of the Task Force, revealed that the sub-organizer arranged sex workers for clients at the spa. The main organizers, Lingampally Shiva Nandini alias Anjali and Maddineni Sandeep, recruited sex workers from around the city. They paid workers a daily commission between Rs 2,000 and Rs 3,000.

    Sudha admitted that Anjali and Sandeep assisted her in managing the operation, for which she earned a monthly salary of Rs 25,000. When customers reached out to the main organizers, they were directed to the spa using her contact information. Upon arrival, customers paid and were then led to the sex workers, according to the DCP.

    Legal action was taken under Sections 143, 144(2) BNS and Sections 3, 4, & 5 of the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act, 1956.
