    It is to Avoid Accidents…

The footover bridges built across the city specifically for pedestrians are not being used by people. Wherever they fall, pedestrians and drivers alike are having trouble crossing the street. Pelican signals have been installed in this situation to ensure a safe atmosphere for pedestrians. Pelican signals last about 15 seconds, three minutes at least apart. During this 15 seconds, pedestrians must cross the street. Congested localities like Tankbund, Mehidipatnam, Jubilee Hills, Secunderabad, Panjagutta, Abids, Tankbund, Himayatnagar, Begumpet, etc. have these signals erected. On the tank bund, these signals were put in at two different locations.
