Hyderabad: To help traffic officers cope with the intense summer heat, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have received newly designed hats that offer better comfort and functionality. These hats are part of an upgraded traffic gear kit distributed on Tuesday by City Police Commissioner CV Anand.
The previous hats were uncomfortable during hot weather, prompting the need for a more practical design. The new hats aim to keep officers cooler and more focused while managing the city’s busy roads.
At the distribution event, Commissioner CV Anand praised the hard work and dedication of the traffic personnel. He encouraged them to keep improving their performance and stay committed to keeping Hyderabad’s roads safe and orderly.
In a bid to strengthen traffic monitoring, the commissioner announced plans to install high-rise cameras on tall buildings across the city. These cameras will help enforce traffic rules more effectively by capturing real-time violations from a wider perspective.
Additionally, the Hyderabad Traffic Branch has received a drone. This drone will be used to study and manage traffic patterns, aiming to ease congestion and enhance overall flow on the roads.
Joint Commissioner of Traffic Joel Davis and other senior officers also attended the event.
