Women Urged to Focus on Self-Employment and Financial Independence
Gadwal: Women should work towards self-employment and financial independence, said Ganta Kavita Devi, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority. She made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a legal awareness seminar held at the District Women’s Federation Office on Monday.
During her speech, Kavita Devi highlighted the importance of women becoming self-reliant and setting ambitious goals for their personal and professional development. She urged women, especially those in self-help groups, to take advantage of government schemes and opportunities to improve their financial stability.
She emphasized that financial independence gives women the confidence to make their own decisions and contribute positively to society. She also pointed out that having legal knowledge is essential, as it helps women understand their rights and protections under the law.
The seminar was attended by several dignitaries, including DRDO Narsinga Rao and District Women’s Federation President Sangeeta, along with many other participants.
