The IT and MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao announced that Hyderabad will have enough drinking water until 2050. The Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewage Board is increasing the capacity of all three phases of Krishna water supply at Sunkishala. The project costs ₹2,215 cr and will be completed by summer 2024.
