Hyderabad – On Monday, B Mahesh Kumar Goud, President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), officially introduced the Dr Manmohan Singh Fellowship Programme at Gandhi Bhavan.
During the launch, Goud stressed the need for more young professionals and intellectuals in politics. He called on the youth to step forward and play an active role in shaping public policies. According to him, the next generation brings fresh ideas, modern skills, and the vision needed for effective leadership.
The fellowship is an initiative of the All-India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC). Its main goal is to connect skilled professionals with the fields of governance and public policy in Telangana.
Several AIPC Telangana leaders, including Irfan Aziz, Navika Harshe, Dr Aditya Reddy, Sandeep Bhushan, Maria, Santosh Y, Raghav, and Ranadheer, attended the event. They will take charge of different focus areas within the new programme.
The Dr Manmohan Singh Fellowship Programme is crafted to attract young minds who want to make a difference in areas like policy-making, social development, and governance. It aligns with the Congress Party’s mission to promote a democratic and inclusive political environment.
This new move reflects the party’s effort to support meaningful discussions and prepare the future generation for nation-building through political engagement.
