Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar recently stated that efforts are being made to address public issues regardless of political affiliations. A felicitation event was held in Karimnagar for ZP chairpersons, ZPTCs, MPPs, and ZP co-option members who completed their terms.
During the event, Prabhakar commended the MPPs and ZPTCs for their work in solving public problems over the past five years. He emphasized that despite challenges, these officials have built a positive reputation. He also mentioned the possibility of them returning to public service even after their current terms end.
Prabhakar highlighted the contributions of his political mentor, Juvwadi Chokka Rao, who previously served as the chairman of Karimnagar ZP. He indicated that local bodies would receive increased attention under the leadership of CM Revanth Reddy in the future.
ZP chairperson Kanumalla Vijaya stressed the importance of strengthening local bodies and shared that her husband’s support had been crucial in her political journey. She expressed satisfaction in her efforts to address public concerns during her tenure.
