Narayanpet MLA Dr Chittem Parnika Reddy and Constituency Congress In Charge Kumbham Shiva Kumar met with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to ask for more funds for the development of the backward district of Mahabubnagar.
During the meeting, the MLA asked the government to create 3 new mandals in Garlapad, Kota Konda, and Kanuparthy, as promised by Congress leaders during elections.
The MLA also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing clarification on the implementation of GO 69 in the recent Assembly session. This GO aims to provide irrigation water to parched areas of the district through Jurala backwaters.
Dr Parnika Reddy informed that the Chief Minister has assured funds for the Lift Irrigation project under GO 69, and work will begin soon. The district can also expect other infrastructure development as ample funds will be released by the government for various development activities.
