Moderate Rains and Thunderstorms Expected Across Telangana
Yadadri-Bhongir, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, Bhadradri-Kothagudem are predicted to experience moderate rains and thunderstorms for the next two hours, according to the latest weather forecast. Following this, the weather is expected to clear up entirely in these regions.
The rest of Telangana is projected to have mainly dry weather until the evening. Despite this, fresh rounds of scattered intense thunderstorms are predicted in the southern and eastern regions of Telangana during the overnight hours.
The capital city, Hyderabad, is expected to have an overcast weather with showers persisting for the next hour. This will later reduce to drizzles with dry weather predicted till the evening. However, scattered thunderstorms are expected to return during the overnight hours.
The meteorological department advises residents in the affected areas to be prepared for the changing weather conditions. The moderate rains may lead to water-logging in some regions and the thunderstorms may disrupt daily activities and transport. The department advises people to stay indoors during the thunderstorms, especially in the overnight hours.

“The ongoing moderate rains and thunderstorms are expected to continue for the next two hours in certain regions, followed by dry weather. However, overnight thunderstorms are expected in southern and eastern Telangana, and in Hyderabad,” said a representative from the meteorological department.
