Jogulamba Gadwal district is planning to set up a Drug De-addiction and Rehabilitation Center. This effort follows instructions from the District Collector. The Department of Women, Child, Disabled, and Senior Citizens Welfare is calling for applications from suitable voluntary organizations to establish this center. District Welfare Officer Ms. Sunanda shared this information in a press release.

The center will focus on fighting substance abuse and will offer rehabilitation, medical treatments, counseling, and other recovery services. To qualify, organizations need to have a building of at least 333 square yards. The building must be owned or provided at no cost and be located in the district headquarters or easily reachable by public transport.
