The district administration in Mahbubnagar is taking action against sellers who are trying to dupe farmers by selling fake seeds. District Collector G Ravi Nayak held a meeting with officials to discuss how they can prevent this from happening. With the rainy season approaching, the Agricultural and Marketing departments have been directed to keep a close eye on fake seed sellers and dealers to ensure farmers are not cheated. During the meeting, the Collector reviewed the preparedness of the agricultural and marketing departments to ensure there is enough quality seeds and fertilizer available at affordable prices.
