Hyderabad: The Director of Public Health, Dr. B. Ravinder Nayak, confirmed there was no shortage of oxygen in ambulances during the recent Gulzar Houz fire tragedy.

He stated that eight ambulances, each equipped with oxygen facilities, were immediately sent to the site. The first patient was taken to Osmania Hospital at 6:25 am on Sunday in ambulance number TS08UL5682.

In total, 15 patients were moved from the scene to various hospitals, including Osmania, CARE, Apollo, and Yashoda. Dr. Nayak assured that all ambulances used for these transfers had full oxygen support.
