Amit Shah, who is the Union Home Minister, is going to Tamil Nadu on Saturday to meet with party workers and industrialists. Shah will first meet with the industrialists in Chennai. Then, he will talk to party leaders from the Chennai South Lok Sabha constituency at a marriage hall in Kovilambakkam.
The reason for Shah’s visit is to get the party’s grass-roots workers ready for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP will be working with the AIADMK during the Lok Sabha elections, and they are hoping to win 11 seats, including Chennai South, The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Vellore, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, and a few other seats.
Edappadi K. Palaniswami, who is the AIADMK General Secretary and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, will be meeting with Shah in Chennai. After that, Shah will go to Vellore in a chopper to attend a public rally on Sunday.
