    The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kothagudem organized a large rally as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ to celebrate India’s independence. The event, which took place on Tuesday, had a great turnout from the local community.

    The rally was led by BJP district President KV Ranga Kiran and began at the Munneru Vagu Bridge in Kothagudem town, ending at the Post Office Centre. It saw the participation of 600 people, including party leaders, activists, and students, all waving national flags. At the Ambedkar Centre, they sang the National Anthem in unison.

    Ranga Kiran expressed that the rally was organized to commemorate 77 years of India’s independence and to honor those who fought for the country’s freedom. He emphasized the importance of nationalism and encouraged everyone to hoist the national flag at their homes on August 15 as a sign of patriotism.

    In Wanaparthy, the BJP district office, led by Town President Bachuram, district president Narayana, and former Zilla Parishad Chairman Loknath Reddy, distributed flags to each ward. They urged BJP State leaders, students, workers, and intellectuals to participate in a flag rally at the district party office on August 15.

    In Gadwal, a yatra commenced from the Old Bus Stand and moved through various significant locations, including Gandhi Chowk and Ambedkar Chowk, before concluding at Raichur Crossroads. Participants carried the national flag and promoted the idea of hoisting it on every house as part of the celebration.
