Palamuru University Hockey Team Heads to South Zone Meet
The Palamuru University (P.U.) hockey team is on its way to compete in the Inter-University South Zone Meet. The tournament will take place at the University of Madras in Tamil Nadu from January 3 to January 7, 2025.
A send-off ceremony was held before the team’s departure. During the event, OSD Dr. Madhusudhan Reddy encouraged the players, highlighting the importance of self-confidence. He stated, “Self-confidence is the foundation for success in sports.”
To honor the players, PU Vice Chancellor Dr. Srinivas presented them with tracksuits. Several university officials, including Assistant Registrar Venkateshwarlu, Superintendent Ravinder, and Section Officer Balakrishna, attended the ceremony and extended their best wishes to the team.
The hockey team left with strong hopes of representing Palamuru University and achieving great results in the prestigious tournament.
