One resident of Secunderabad, Ramesh, said that he was able to see the crowd at his polling station through the app. Based on this information, he can plan when to visit the polling booth.
Ramesh also mentioned that the app is very useful because it allows voters to smoothly visit polling booths and cast their votes.
Officials have stated that this is the first time an app like this has been created to encourage urban voters to go to polling booths in Hyderabad. To use the app, users can go to the GHMC website and click on the PollQRoute option. They can then choose their constituency and polling station from the dropdown menus to get detailed information. The app provides navigation routes to the polling station, as well as updates on the queue status and estimated wait time.
