Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ronald Rose is urging citizens to take advantage of the ‘Early Bird’ scheme and pay their property tax before April 30 to receive a 5% rebate.
The Early Bird scheme is for the payment of property tax for the financial year 2024–25. If property tax is paid before April 30, a rebate of five per cent of the tax amount can be availed.
So far, Rs 230 crore in tax has been collected through this scheme. Citizens are encouraged to pay their property tax on time to benefit from the rebate.
