Summer is the season for mangoes, and they are the most popular seasonal fruit in India. However, this year, people are having trouble finding the farm-ripe mangoes they love. Instead, many mangoes are half-ripe or have been treated with chemicals to ripen them faster. This is because recent rains and hail storms have damaged mango farms across the state, making it harder to grow tasty fruit.
Many different types of mangoes are grown in Telangana, and they are exported to other countries as well as being enjoyed locally. However, because of the bad weather, popular varieties like Be Nishan, Himayat, Banganpalli, Chinna Rasala, and Dassehri are not yet available in good taste. It is possible that they will be ready for sale in the last week of May or early June.
There are only a few places where people can find high-quality mangoes that taste great. Unfortunately, these mangoes are not affordable for most people. If you want to enjoy tasty mangoes without breaking the bank, you may need to wait a little longer for the harvest to improve.
