    Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with railway officials on Monday to discuss the planned Vikarabad-Krishna railway line.

    During the meeting, railway chief engineer Subrahmanyan explained that the new railway line will pass through several areas, including Kodangal, Parigi, Makthal, and Narayanapet.

    Currently, South Central Railway (SCR) is conducting a survey. This survey will assess the technical and economic feasibility of the project, considering factors like terrain, land acquisition, and potential passenger numbers.

    Once the survey is finished and the project receives approval, construction of the new railway line will start. The proposed railway line will be 145 kilometers long and will cost Rs 3,500 crore.

    Chief Minister Revanth Reddy provided several suggestions regarding the route map. MLAs Rammohan Reddy, Vakati Srihari, Parnika Reddy, and other officials also attended the meeting.
