Wanaparthy: District collector Adarsh Surabhi announced that Rythu Bharosa funds totaling Rs 95.53 crore have been deposited into the accounts of 1,34,537 farmers owning less than two acres as of Monday.
He confirmed that other eligible farmers will receive their funds over the next nine days.
On Monday, Adarsh Surabhi, local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, agricultural officers, and farmers gathered at Nagavaram Rythu Vedika to view the ‘Rythu Nestham’ program via video conference.
This initiative, led by CM Revanth Reddy and his Cabinet, was organized at Professor Jayashankar Agricultural University in Hyderabad and included farmers from all over the State.
During the event, the MLA encouraged district farmers to diversify their crops. He recommended growing high-demand crops like vegetables, pulses, and oil palm to increase farming profitability.
