Hyderabad is getting ready for a summer filled with sports and fun. The Sports Authority of Telangana (SATG) has announced its 2025 Summer Coaching Camps, which will run from May 1 to June 6. The camps will take place across various stadiums in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana.
AP Jithendar Reddy (Sports Advisor), K Shiva Sena Reddy (SATG Chairman), and A Sonibala Devi (Managing Director) officially launched the event by unveiling the camp poster and handing out sports gear at LB Stadium.
The coaching sessions will happen in both morning and evening slots. Kids and young athletes who wish to join can register online through the official SATG website: https://satgasc.telangana.gov.in/. A QR code will also be available at all stadiums for quick registration.
Parents and guardians bringing their children to the camps won’t be left out. They can join free yoga and Zumba classes offered at all venues in the twin cities. This move encourages families to stay active together.
In a special initiative, SATG will offer free coaching for para sports, making the camps more inclusive. This year marks the first time the authority is supplying sports equipment to every district headquarters.
To support the coaches, SATG has increased their monthly honorariums. The new rates are:
– Rs 5,000 for assistant coaches in rural areas (up from Rs 4,000),
– Rs 7,500 at district headquarters,
– For urban coaches in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, honorariums increased from Rs 7,500 to Rs 15,000.
The entire registration process is now digital, making it easier for people across the state to enroll. These camps are not just about fun—they aim to find young talent and keep students active during the summer break.
