Panchayat Raj minister Seethakka recently met with officials to prepare for the upcoming rainy season and prevent water contamination. The minister praised the successful efforts made during the summer to maintain clean water supply and urged the departments to continue working together to prevent contamination during the rainy season.

In the past, there have been instances of water contamination during the rainy season, so the minister instructed officials to ensure that no impurities enter households through water pipelines. She also emphasized the importance of regularly checking for any drainage leaks. The meeting included PR principal secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, engineers-in-chief Krupakar Reddy and Kanaka Ratnam, Panchayat Raj commissioner Anita Ramachandran, and other officials.
