In Amaravati, a recent incident highlighted the dangers of taking selfies and videos in risky situations. Unfortunately, more and more young people are losing their lives while trying to capture the perfect moment, often unaware of the dangers around them.
This tragic event took place in Patapadu, Vijayawada Rural Mandal. Five friends, who had been drinking alcohol, decided to visit a nearby fish pond. While there, they tried to take selfies on a makeshift boat.
Sadly, the boat lost its balance and capsized. Two of the youths drowned, while the other three were rescued by locals who came to their aid.
The victims have been identified as 23-year-old Sivanand and 21-year-old Ravikumar. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. This serves as a tragic reminder to be cautious and responsible during recreational activities.
