The entire city is suffering from waterlogging and sewage problems during the rainy season. Monsoon rains have worsened conditions, as rainwater mixes with stagnant sewage in already blocked drains. This has led to frequent overflows in many neighborhoods.
Residents report that mud and sewage covering roads have become a nightmare, creating a foul smell. They are frustrated with the authorities’ delay in addressing the issue, even after the rain has stopped.
