Mohammed Ali Shabbir, an advisor to the State Government, visited Kamareddy district to assess crop damage caused by untimely rains and hail. He assured farmers of government support during this difficult time.
During his visit, Shabbir Ali interacted with farmers in villages like Domakonda, Bhiknoor, and Rajampet mandals, where crops like paddy, maize, turmeric, chilli, and mango were destroyed by the hailstorm. He encouraged farmers to stay strong and assured them that officials would assess the damage and provide appropriate aid.
Shabbir Ali criticized the previous government for failing to compensate farmers for crop losses or provide crop insurance, leading to tragic consequences like farmer suicides. He promised affected farmers that he would advocate for compensation with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
Additionally, Shabbir Ali directed Congress leaders at the village and mandal levels to work with officials in surveying fields and compiling reports on crop damage. Kamareddy DCC President Kailasa Srinivas Rao and other senior leaders also participated in the assessment process.
