District Collector Highlights Importance of Language and Expression for Students
Karimnagar District Collector Pamela Satpathy emphasized that for students, understanding and expressing their thoughts are just as important as learning a language.
A district-level selection programme is being organized by Paramita Educational Institutions to identify talented government school students for the TED initiative. As part of this, a mandal-level selection event took place on Monday at the Government School in Mankamma Thota, Danagarwadi.
Speaking to the students, the District Collector underscored the significance of learning English alongside Telugu. She explained that English is a vital tool for sharing our thoughts and culture with the rest of the world.
Collector Pamela assured students that even if they are not selected for TED, the experience and knowledge gained from the programme would benefit them in the future. She encouraged them to keep working hard, stating that success is certain for those who put in consistent effort.
She also expressed her dream of seeing a girl from a government school give a speech on an international stage someday, inspiring students to aim high and believe in their potential.
