Hyderabad: On World Creativity and Innovation Day, the Telangana Innovation Cell (TGIC), along with the Panchayat Raj Department, wrapped up the T-Innovation Mahotsavam (TIM) 2025. This event took place across all 33 districts of Telangana.
The main goal of the program was to highlight the importance of innovation and connect useful, ready-to-use ideas with people in rural communities. These ideas aimed to solve common problems related to their daily lives and livelihoods. Village leaders like Sarpanches and Secretaries played a key role in organizing and leading the activities in their areas.
TGIC officials shared that the initiative helped people in villages better understand how innovation can improve their lives. Many villagers took part in discussions about the need for creative thinking and came up with practical solutions to the challenges they face. The program also saw good support from district officials, schools, colleges, and local organizations, which helped increase participation and interest.
TGIC’s partner institutions helped promote the event by organizing special activities focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) supported the program by displaying posters and videos related to TIM at bus stations all over the state.
Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of ITE&C, said that TIM 2025 is about more than just celebrating innovation. It’s about giving rural communities the knowledge and tools they need to solve their problems and improve their lives.
Meraj, CEO of TGIC, added that TIM 2025 focuses on using creativity to bring real solutions to the people who need them. By connecting useful innovations with rural communities, they hope to create a lasting and meaningful impact.
