Telangana's Chief Minister Revanth Reddy left for a two-day visit to Delhi today. He is joined by Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and IT, Industries, and Commerce Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. They have an important meeting with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, who leads the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Their discussion will explore investment opportunities and partnership projects in Telangana, as the institute is active in global development.
Later, at noon, Chief Minister Reddy will meet with Union Water Resources Minister CR Patil. The Telangana team plans to voice concerns over the Godavari-Bankacherla project proposed by Andhra Pradesh. They will hand over a detailed report to the Central Water Resources Commission.
Reddy will also talk with Union ministers about current projects and the release of central funds to Telangana. Congress insiders suggest that Reddy might meet with AICC leaders before concluding his trip. They aim to discuss important issues like filling party posts and appointing nominated positions.
